Little Artistic Masters (Windsor Terrace)

Little Artistic Masters (Windsor Terrace)

Hello everyone,

Little Artistic Masters is about fostering creative growth through inspiration! We're interested in sustaining an environment of curiosity, independence and collaboration through art.

The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider's web. ” -Pablo Picasso

We will..
get confident using different art materials by exploring their potential.
awaken our creative curiosity by investigating artists.
empower each other through sharing our thoughts and art project ideas.
engage in sensory work through playing with the materials.
encourage collaboration through making art.

Example artists:
Georgia O'keeffe (Nature; Still life; charcoal drawings)
Alma Thomas (Color; composition; pointillism)
Jackson Pollock (Action painting)
Frida Khalo (Self-portraits; surrealism)
Matisse (Relationship of colors; collage)
Helen Frankenthaler (Abstract Expression; painting)
Isaiah Agar, creator of the Magic Garden in Philadelphia. (Mosaic; found object art)
(We will pick artists based on what inspires the group.)

The most exciting part of teaching is seeing how each child comes up with their own unique ways of understanding and depicting art.

Come create with us!
