Hi, I'm Lyman!
The most important mentor to me in the study of early childhood education told me once, “We are here to offer the children we encounter the respect they deserve during their one and only childhood.” Working in Hamtramck schools with underserved youth, doing social work with people diagnosed mentally ill, playing music for challenged children and young adults in special schools and teaching toddlers at Green Apple Garden Playschool, I have gathered lessons beneficial for all ages. Independant self care and exploration of arts, sciences and camaraderie are some of the best of these. There are no bad or wrong children and my co-teacher and I are dedicated to a warm and positive classroom.
