HI, I'm Maddie!
Tell us a little about yourself
Hi I'm Maddie, I just graduated from high school taking courses such as parenting and Early Elementary Education. I ran a preschool with a designed lesson plan zoo theme "Wild about Learning" which included a lesson in story time, an art project, a math project and a nutritious snack. I've worked hands on in two daycares, one of them being a Catholic private school. I understand every situation is unique and will do what is needed for the growth and development of your child. I have a passion for kids an giving love and life lessons. My dream job would be opening a daycare but until then I want to gain more experience with working with young ones. I am first aid and CPR certified. I've been background checked and fingerprinted in the state of Montana. I've watched children of young ages, as many as six at one time. Thank you for taking the time to consider me.
What is your philosophy on and approach to behavioral management? Nurture with love Who was your favorite teacher and why? My 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Jenson because she was always there for me when I struggled in science. She always encouraged me to read and foster a love for books. Do you have experience working with children with special needs? Yes in 11th & 12th grade I participated in special needs seminary. We sat with them and helped them learn and do activities Please list any relevant licenses, degrees or certifications not mentioned in your resumé or LinkedIn Profile. I'm certified in pre Elementary education. I've compiled a safe sleep course in Child Care. I attended a VIRTOUS program Protecting Gods children What's your philosophy on what it means to be a great teacher?
Give all you can. Love them like their your own blood. What advice would you give to someone who is considering becoming a teacher? Strive to develop patience while your young because your only going to get tested as time goes on. In your opinion, what is the role of the live teacher in a world where it is becoming increasingly easy to get access to information through the internet and online courses? They are there to be a foundation in your life. Technology is convenient but it's not the same as feeling the love and guidance a teacher in person has to offer. How can we, as teachers of children, work to build a society where people are respectful towards each other and the environment? Be the example you want in the world. Pick up after yourself and if you see trash on the property pick that up as well."
