Hi, I'm Marion!
Tell us a little bit about yourself
I was born around Paris. I have school teaching experience in primary schools and also by the fact that I was school monitor in a secondary school. In my teaching experience, I have always attached great importance to understanding of every one. It’s essential to create a true personal relationship, to build trust and for the exchange between two people.
My principal goal with CottageClass is to bring the most things that I can to American children. My goal is to bring with me a part of France and to share it with my students.
What is your philosophy on and approach to behavioral management? It seems essential to me that student should be active. The more active students are, the more they participate, the more they remember. It’s important to create discussions, times during which students speak, express themselves, prepare presentations and put themselves in real situations.
I want them to be active in speaking orally, but also more creatively through activities: making a newspaper, a radio broadcast or a recipe book for example. I would be delighted to share my knowledge with as many people as possible.
