Hi, I'm Ms Valeria!
Tell us a little bit about yourself. Born and raised in Rome,I graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts with honors.I began working as a set designer and set decorator for television, theatre and cinema. In 2009 I moved to New York where I got married and studied at the School of Visual Arts.I worked as art director and set designer for film and advertising.I start teaching art to children at the International School Hands on World in Brooklyn. I’m now working as a Studio Coach for Rosetta Stone, InteriorDesign,Professional Organizer,Fit Model,events organizer and children's parties.I shares with my students all the passion and love I have for Italy and for Italian Culture and Art. I am a mom of a bilingual 5yo.
What is your philosophy on and approach to behavioral management? I take a positive stance on behavior management. I firmly believe that it is important to work with a child and not against them. To address a behavior issue I believe that first you must understand the behavior and more importantly understand what its causes are.
Who was your favorite teacher and why? My favorite was the Italian teacher. She was assertive and kind
